For Saudi Aramco, VIDO has been supplying and installing surveillance cameras including the associated transmission technology (television circuit) since 2008. The project started with G50 PTZ cameras; the G59 positioning PTZ systems for demanding surveillance tasks followed later.
A key focus of the project is perimeter protection: the sprawling facilities are secured via a network of positioning and PTZ systems. To date, more than 166 G59 systems and 100 G50 cameras have been installed.
The project exemplifies VIDO's way of working: long-term support over many years, continuous expansion of the installations and reliable service even under difficult climatic conditions.
